You’re writing your autobiography. What’s your opening sentence?
From the outside, I may seem like any other woman—ordinary, unbroken. But beneath the surface, my past tells a different story. A childhood stained with pain, shaped by beatings, neglect, and unspeakable abuse. My life began in darkness, a place no child should ever know. Yet, through the suffering, I found resilience. My horrific past could have destroyed me, but instead, it became the foundation of the person I am today.
This would be my opening sentence.
