My Writing

What experiences in life helped you grow the most?

My past, though horrific and painful, has shaped me into the person I am today. Every hardship, every moment of darkness, led me to the one thing that gave me solace—books. As a child, they were my only salvation, my escape from a reality I had no control over. Through them, I discovered the power of storytelling, and soon, I wasn’t just reading—I was writing.

What started as a refuge became my purpose. Though life pulled me away from it for a time, I found my way back. And when I did, I knew there was no other path for me. Writing isn’t just something I do—it’s who I am. It saved me then, and it continues to shape my future now. Becoming an author wasn’t just a choice; it was my destiny.

Although the experience of childhood neglect, abuse, and emotional trauma shaped me into who I am today, it also became the gateway to my writing. The pain I endured could have broken me—but instead, it fueled me.

My past is darker than anything you’d see in a Netflix documentary, but I refuse to let it define me in a way that holds me back. If anything, it has given me the strength to push forward, to create, to turn my suffering into something meaningful.

No matter where I came from, it won’t stop me from doing what I love or chasing the dreams I once thought were out of reach. Writing isn’t just my passion—it’s my freedom, my purpose, and my proof that even in the darkest of stories, there’s always a way to rewrite the ending.
