Where Do I See Myself?

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Well, I’d see myself publishing more books (at very least, 20 books for the next 10 years).

I have so many book ideas, that by then, they’ll all be published.

I’d also have more illustrated books published (each illustration takes a long time to create).

There are just so many possibilities, and I am very excited for the future!

What about you?

  1. Omg! I’m writing a historical fantasy novel right now! I hope to publish as well! I put a few chapters out there on WordPress, I would love for you to take a look and tell me what you think! I’m super new to writing (16 years old) so I’d love for some guidance!

    1. Hello Lexi, lovely to hear from a fellow writer. You can begin writing at any age. It doesn’t matter how young you are. I wrote my first book at 13.

I’ve read the first chapter of your story (with the red-headed twins). I am rather intrigued. It will need grammar corrections, but do not worry. I didn’t know what grammar was until my early twenties! (That’s what an editor is for). Keep going with your writing. It takes dedication to write a book, and you’re doing brilliantly. On there is a whole bunch of authors writing in all different genres! You can pick up tips, ask questions, or even just make friends with other authors.

Publishing a book can be quite hard, depending on which avenue you take – Traditional Publishing or Self-Publishing. I do both. They both have pros and cons to each.

I started like you, but unfortunately, I didn’t have the internet, nor did I know anyone who wrote books. You have a head start! The more you write, the better you become. So don’t let anyone tell you you can’t, because from what I read in the first chapter, you definitely can! I hope this helps. And if you would like more guidance, then please do contact me, or go through my Author page, and I’d be delighted to assist you.
